Mr. and Mrs. Aaron R. Thomas, of Franklinton, announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Haley Victoria Thomas, to John Robert Boone, the son of Robert and Jackie Boone, of Angie.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Ray and Mavis Merritt, of Franklinton, Drew and Rachel LeBlanc, of Tylertown, Miss., Royce and Cheryl Thomas, of Houston, Texas, and the late Michael Hunt of Franklinton. She was valedictorian of Ben’s Ford Christian School’s Class of 2012 and currently is pursuing a career in physical therapy.

The prospective groom is the grandson of Hayward and Dody Boone, of Angie, and Bill and Margaret Ryals, of Bogalusa. He is a 2010 graduate of Bowling Green High School and currently is employed offshore with Noble Drilling.

The couple will exchange vows Saturday, March 23 in a 3 p.m. ceremony at Mile Branch Settlement in Franklinton, with a reception to follow.
