The Krewe of Cassidy donated a check to the City of Bogalusa Parks and Recreation.
Lowell Hall has a gathering for the Krewe of MCCA at the pavilion in Cassidy Park each year called the Krewe of Cassidy.
Hall has reserved the pavilion in Cassidy Park for about 10 years. Hall, his relatives and friends donate money. Hall said the donation is in appreciation for the beauty of Cassidy Park.
“They keep Cassidy Park groomed for the people of Bogalusa, family and friends to go and enjoy,” Hall said. “They also keep it clean for the Bogalusa Blues and Heritage Festival. I’ve been impressed with how well they keep it clean.”
