Varnado High School held its annual homecoming and senior recognition on Friday, Oct. 25 for those students who participate in football, cheerleading, pep squad, band and dance teams.

The festivities began at 5 p.m.with the presentation of the court, and the crowning of the Princess and Prince and the 2013 Queen and Football King of Varnado High School.

The 2013 Homecoming Court included Queen Seqouya Kemp, Football King Preston Spikes, Princess Kourtney Hamilton, Prince Zachary Lott, Football Maid Desha Temple and Escort Kamerhon Moses, Senior Maid Dayshjauna Nathaniel and Senior Escort Dominique Harry, Senior Maid Dasha Temple and Senior Escort Coltin Shaffett, Junior Maid Keneisha Kemp and Junior Escort Demontrey Mingo, Junior Maid Zoe Busby and Junior Escort Ardale McGowan, Sophomore Maid Breanna Holmes and Sophomore Escort Deroldric Jefferson, Sophomore Maid Nekeilya Pack and Sophomore Escort Tyrandis Crosby, Freshman Maid Ayrial Smith and Freshman Escort Jamarion Davis, and Freshman Maid Ashleigh Powe and Freshman Escort Kevin Boudreaux.

Principal Branch and the administration and staff also recognized the 2014 Seniors, which included the following VHS students:
