April 15-Bogalusa Police Department detectives have secured the arrests of two additional juveniles (14 and 15) for their involvement in Saturday morning’s deadly shooting.

The preliminary investigation revealed that an undisclosed, occupied residence was shot multiple times, by multiple individuals. Further investigation revealed that while the juveniles, including the deceased, were shooting into and towards the residence, the deceased juvenile sustained a fatal gunshot wound. Physical evidence, statements, and the investigation in its entirety thus far indicate that there was no opposing gunfire during the incident.

Numerous search warrants were executed. Detectives ultimately recovered 3 firearms which are suspected of being utilized in the shooting. All three juveniles were booked with the following: 1st degree murder, 4 counts of attempted first degree murder, aggravated criminal damage to property, illegal possession of a handgun by a juvenile, and failure to seek assistance.

Each were turned over to the Florida Parish Juvenile Detention Center.
