Boil Water Advisory Issued for Village of Sun Residents

SUN, La. — The Village of Sun has announced an immediate boil water advisory for all its water consumers, following a recent water line repair. The advisory remains in effect until further notice, as officials await test results to ensure the water’s safety for public use.
Residents are urged to boil water before consuming it or using it for cooking purposes. Boiling water kills bacteria and other organisms that may be present in the water due to the repair work. The Village of Sun is taking all necessary precautions to protect its residents and ensure the water meets safety standards before lifting the advisory.
