Hayward Gordon Kellar Sr., Aug. 28, 1936 – Feb. 14, 2024, a resident of Soddy Daisy, Tenn., and a lifelong resident of Bogalusa, La., passed away at the age of 87 due to dementia-related complications.

Gordon was preceded in death by the love of his life, Maxine Kellar, of 62 wonderful years.

He is survived by his four children, Onita Kellar Pierce (Jeff), Juanita Kellar Watts (Wilson), Hayward Gordon Kellar Jr. (Carol), and Mark Kellar (Mignon); 10 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

There will be a small family graveside service in Bogalusa.
