In a proactive effort to combat substance abuse and foster community support, Adapt Inc. and the Florida Parishes Human Services Authority (FPHSA) joined forces to host their first faith-based community outreach meeting on Friday, February 9, 2024.
The event, held in collaboration with local ministers and faith-based organizations, served as a platform to disseminate crucial information, distribute resources, observe trends, and update data about substance abuse issues prevalent in Washington and Tangipahoa Parish.
“We are excited about the interest and feedback we have received in this new endeavor and look forward to continued growth with this new partnership,” remarked a representative from Adapt Inc.
The event marked a significant step forward in leveraging the collective strength and influence of faith-based communities to address societal challenges and extend a compassionate hand to those in need. As efforts intensify to build upon this foundation, the organizers remain steadfast in their commitment to effecting positive change and fostering a healthier, more supportive community for all.
