Highway 3241 Nears Completion in Washington Parish

Washington Parish residents have reason to celebrate as updates from the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) reveal significant progress on Highway 3241. The announcement came during a recent meeting at the St. Tammany Parish government office, attended by local and state officials.

State Senator Beth Mizell shared the encouraging news, noting, “Hwy 3241 is expected to be fully completed in one year, with some sections very nearly complete.” This development is a significant milestone for the community, promising improved connectivity and economic opportunities.

The meeting also saw discussions with Washington Parish representatives, including School Board members Paul Kates and Curtis Creel, Washington Parish Councilwoman Kim Wagner, and Suzie Bourne, Legislative Assistant for Rep. Wyble, highlighting the collaborative effort behind the project’s advancement for the parish.

As Highway 3241 approaches completion, Washington Parish looks forward to the benefits this infrastructure project will bring to the region.
