Carol Rose Sullivan Powell, 81, of Bogalusa, LA.  passed away on February 13, 2024, at the Care Center of Laurel in Laurel, MS. A graveside service will be held on Friday, February 16, 2024, at Ponemah Cemetery in Bogalusa, LA. at 10:00 A.M.

Mrs. Powell was a lifelong member of Main Street Baptist Church in Bogalusa, LA. She worked faithfully by her husband at Dick Powell Jewelers for many years. She loved her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John J. and Hazel Lacey Sullivan; her husband, Richard Powell; and her son, Shawn Powell.

She is survived by her two daughters, Leslie Burke Raborn (James) and Miki Smith (Greg); her five grandchildren, Kimberly A. Raborn, Nicholas R. O’Quin, Lauren K. McClendon (David), James William Raborn (Kate), and Gaby Rose Smith; and two great-grandchildren, Noah Parker Raborn and Liam Blake McClendon.
