The Washington Parish Sheriff’s Office (WPSO) announced Monday its decision to help the Orleans Parish Sheriff’s Office with Lundi Gras and Fat Tuesday celebrations, extending their manpower to New Orleans for the final days of Mardi Gras.
Sheriff Randy Seal emphasized the importance of ensuring public safety during the festive period on Facebook. Deputies from the WPSO joined forces with Orleans Parish Sheriff Susan Hutson and their deputies to monitor the festivities and maintain order throughout South Louisiana.
