Mary’s Chapel United Methodist Church Hosts Annual Women’s Day Program

VARNADO, La. – The women of Mary’s Chapel United Methodist Church extend a warm invitation to fellow Christian congregations for their upcoming annual Women’s Day Program.
The event is scheduled to take place on Sunday, February 4, 2024, commencing at two o’clock in the afternoon at the church premises located at 63343 Jones Creek Rd., Varnado, Louisiana 70426.
Reverend Terrence August, the esteemed pastor of Mary’s Chapel United Methodist Church, announces that Reverend Dr. Mary Lucas of Turner Chapel AME Church, situated in Roseland, Louisiana, will grace the occasion as the keynote speaker. Reverend Dr. Mary Lucas, alongside her husband Dr. Larry D. Lucas, Sr., serves as a co-pastor at Turner Chapel AME Church.
For those unable to attend, the congregation humbly requests prayers for a spiritually enriching and joyous gathering, dedicated to the praise and upliftment of the name of the Lord, according to Rev. Terrence August.
