FRANKLINTON, La. — In a move fulfilling his campaign commitment, Representative-elect John Wyble has announced the opening of district offices in Franklinton and Bogalusa. These offices, integral to ensuring all citizens in Washington Parish (La. House District 75) have access to services and information, are located at 943 Washington Street, Franklinton, and 748 Avenue F, Bogalusa.
Wyble, who began transitioning to his new role since November 19, shared, “It took quite an effort to make the budget we are given by the state to work, but through negotiations and a willingness of local commercial property owners, I am excited to announce this important goal has been accomplished.”
Wyble and his legislative assistant, Suzi Bourne, are setting up regular office hours at both locations. “With the help of my legislative assistant, Suzi Bourne, we will establish regular office hours at both locations where someone will be in that particular office,” Wyble stated.
The team’s official legislative email addresses are expected next week and will be made public then. Until that time, communications can be sent to info@teamwyble.com. The new official office phone number, 985-515-1020, will be operational from the week of January 8.
Wyble’s preparation for his January 8 inauguration has included important delegation meetings, orientation sessions, and close work with incoming House leadership on committee assignments. His engagements have extended to meeting local business leaders and officials.
Wyble expressed gratitude towards his colleagues: “I want to publicly thank Senator Beth Mizell who has been very helpful and supportive in this process as well as outgoing Representative Malinda White. Both have been a resource of information and guidance. I am ready to serve and, of course, am excited to have such a wonderful Legislative Assistant in Suzi Bourne.”
