BOGALUSA, La. – Mayor Tyrin Truong of Bogalusa has announced he will temporarily relinquish his duties following a multi-vehicle collision, necessitating a recovery period. As outlined in a detailed crash report, the incident occurred on Hwy 53 and involved multiple vehicles.

The crash report clarifies that the incident occurred when a vehicle traveling south on Highway 53 struck a second vehicle from behind, leading to a chain-reaction crash impacting Mayor Truong’s car.
