Baton Rouge, La. – Louisiana State Representative John Wyble, recently elected from Washington Parish, hosted the Middle School Student Council and National Junior Honor Society (NJHS) of Bogalusa High School at the state capitol.

Amid his new member orientation, Representative Wyble made time to engage with the middle school students. He discussed the importance of his legislative role and stressed the significance of registering to vote at 18, highlighting civic responsibility.

This interaction with the students is part of Representative Wyble’s broader initiative to foster civic awareness and participation among young people in Washington Parish. By connecting with these future voters and leaders, Wyble said he aims to build a foundation of informed and active citizenship that will benefit the community for years.
