The Washington Parish Animal Shelter has reported removing signs promoting their ‘Jingle Paws’ event, scheduled for December 16th. These signs were intended to advertise low-cost pet care services like vaccinations and microchipping in Franklinton and Bogalusa.

With permission, 20 signs donated to the shelter had been placed across various locations, including public areas and private properties. The shelter has documented the removal of these signs, which had planned to retrieve them after the event.

The shelter released a statement on Facebook, saying, “All signs were placed in appropriate areas, and if they were on private property, then we received permission to have them there,” the statement reads. The shelter also requests the return of the signs: “If you are the person who picked up these signs, please bring them back to the shelter so that we may put them back out.”
