FRANKLINTON, La. — The 2023 Franklinton Christmas Parade is set to brighten the streets of Franklinton with festive cheer on Dec. 2, promising a delightful experience for families and individuals. The parade, a highlight of the holiday season in Washington Parish, will follow a carefully planned route to ensure maximum visibility and accessibility.

Starting at the Farmers Market, the parade will go down Washington Street, turn right onto Main Street, and conclude at Midway in the Fairgrounds. This path has been selected to allow as many spectators as possible to join the festivities.

Participants and onlookers should prepare for the event to start at 6:00 P.M., with streets along the route closing at 5:00 P.M. to facilitate a smooth and safe parade.

Adhering to stringent safety standards, the 2023 Franklinton Christmas Parade will follow all local and state laws without special exemptions. Attendees are reminded to observe common safety rules throughout the event.
