The Spartanette Service Club, a remarkable service organization comprising high school girls from both Bogalusa High School and Varnado High School, recently demonstrated their commitment to community service and self-improvement through a generous donation to the Bogalusa Help Center. This group, which has pledged to dedicate time to serving others while striving to be the best individuals they can be, chose to donate cranberry sauce and yams for their Thanksgiving Service Project, recognizing that these items are often underrepresented in food drives yet essential for a traditional Thanksgiving meal.

The members involved in this project, including Quonya Bickham, Julond Harry (Vice-President), La’Kenya Mark, Zhyiah Washington, Jena Harry, Rakia Green (Secretary), Chrishyauna Bickham, Jordynn McCant, Janayia Harry, Tatyana Moss (Co-President), DeShundra McGowan, Ja’Kira Magee (Co-President), and Elena Martin, represent the club’s ongoing tradition of leadership and compassion. Their efforts ensure that the Spartanette Service Club continues to be a beacon of hope and a source of positive change in Bogalusa.
