Shooting Reported on Avenue K in Bogalusa

BOGALUSA, La. – A shooting incident has been reported near the residential area along Avenue K in Bogalusa on the afternoon of Wednesday, November 29th. According to a witness who spoke with The Daily News, the sound of gunshots was heard, followed by the sighting of a burgundy vehicle speeding away from the scene. The witness described a black male holding what appeared to be a semi-automatic weapon out of the vehicle’s window.
Officials from the Bogalusa Police Department were at the scene but declined to provide immediate comments, citing the ongoing nature of their investigation into the incident.
