In a turn of events sure to secure a merry and bright season for the good folks of Washington Parish, the Sheriff’s Office announced that the notorious green curmudgeon, known to many as the Grinch, has been apprehended and booked into the parish jail.
The Grinch, infamous for his holiday heists and heart too small, was caught red-handed—well, green-handed.
Residents awoke to the news accompanied by photos of the green fiend in various states of capture, including a glum mugshot and a few snapshots of the Grinch in a Santa suit behind bars, looking less than thrilled about his foiled plot.
The statement from the Sheriff’s Office concluded with, “Remember though, maybe Christmas doesn’t come from a store; perhaps it means a little bit more.
