Angelus Richard “Dickie” Sinopoli, Sr. passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Tuesday, November 14, 2023, at the age of 77. Dickie was an avid hunter and fisherman and was just as at home in a deer stand or in a boat running trout lines as he was sitting on the porch watching the dogs run around. He loved his family and friends and made many memories with his late uncle Jewel Talley.

Angelus is survived by his two sons, Mike (Rebekah) Sinopoli and Mark Sinopoli (Crystal Adams); his brother, Ronald (Brenda) Sinopoli; his sisters, Janice (Larry) McCaflin, Marion (Jimmy) Thomas, and Linda Messina; his grandchildren, Christopher Sinopoli (Amy Hoyt), Evan (Delaney) Sinopoli, Kayleigh Sinopoli, Ethan Sinopoli, Michael Sinopoli, Eric Sinopoli, Haley (Tyler) Wascom, John (Lisa) Jenkins; and his great-grandchildren, Lillian Sinopoli, Alec Sinopoli, Conner Sinopoli, Amelia Sinopoli, Emmaline Wascom.  He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews as well as great-nieces and nephews.

Dickie was proceeded in death by his parents, Angelo and Lillian Sinopoli; his son, Richard “Ricky” Sinopoli; a brother, Joseph “Jody” Sinopoli, and his sister, Lena Kile.

Visitation will be Friday, November 17, 2023, from 9:00 A.M. until the time for the service at 11:00 AM at Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home in Bogalusa, LA. with Bro. David Wilson officiating the service.  Interment to follow at Otzenberger Cemetery in Rio.

Pallbearers will include, Christopher Sinopoli, Michael Sinopoli, Kayleigh Sinopoli, Evan Sinopoli, Ethan Sinopoli, Eric Sinopoli, and Byron Sandifer.
