BOGALUSA, La. – In a shocking incident, a local woman was taken into custody on Friday after allegedly attacking and robbing a 96-year-old veteran.

Caroline Jefferson, a resident of Bogalusa, reportedly unlawfully entered the residence of the elderly victim and is accused of using mace to incapacitate the veteran, leaving him defenseless so she could steal his wallet.
