Marion Alton “Chuck” Fleming Jr., 71, of Bogalusa, La., passed away on Wednesday, October 25, 2023, in Bogalusa, La. He was a native and a lifelong resident of Bogalusa, La. Chuck was a member of the Baptist faith. He retired as a Painter from the Construction Industry and retired due to his illness in 2012. Chuck enjoyed cooking, the outdoors, watching old westerns, supporting the LSU Tigers and New Orleans Saints. He was a loving and devoted Grandfather which involved spoiling Gabby, Addy and Aiden. Chuck’s favorite companion was his Beloved Pet Dot.
He was preceded in death by his Parents, Marion & Gertrude Denham Fleming and a Niece, Kimberly Lorio.
Chuck is survived by his Daughters, Angel Besse and husband Raoul of Hammond, La., Brandy Fleming of Bogalusa, La., Grandchildren, Gabby Besse of Hammond, La., Addy Besse of Hammond, La., Aiden Fleming of Denham Springs, La., Sister, Lynn Fleming of Robert, La., Nephews, Gary Warner Jr. of Slidell, La., Kristopher Lorio of Baton Rouge, La., and a Niece, Krystal Lorio of Baton Rouge.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, November 2, 2023, at 1:00 PM followed with a Memorial Service at 2:00 PM Thursday at Serenity Funeral Home Chapel, 20419 Hwy. 36, Covington, La. 70433. Rev. David Wilson will officiate.
Arrangements are entrusted to Serenity Funeral Home of Covington, La.
