The G.R.I.T.S. girls gathered in September at Don’s Seafood in Covington, La., with Jean Stafford as hostess. Her theme was “It’s Fall Y’all”. Several had prayer request, Nellie Smith gave the prayer for those and the blessing for our food. There were no September birthday ladies. Our hostess gave everyone present a door prize. We enjoyed a variety of good food and had lots of fun.
