On Saturday, October 14, 2023, Charlene Denise Brown transitioned, departing this earthly life to receive eternal life. Charlene Denise Brown, affectionately known as Denise, was a beautiful, classy and impressive woman of God. She had a beautiful spirit that made her well-loved. She was a woman of grace and had great compassion for everyone.

Denise leaves behind to cherish her memories her devoted and loving husband of 26 years, Richard Brown; her mother, Cora Lee Womack Warren; 2 daughters, Keisha Warren and Nikki (Aaron) Spears; 1 son, Richard (Ieshia) Morris; 13 grandchildren; 1 sister, Regina Dunn; 2 brothers, James Dunn and Troy Dunn; 3 sisters-in-law,  Elaine Brown, Lillie Morris and Brenda Walker (Bishop James Walker) of Las Vegas, Nevada; 2 brothers-in-law, Earnest and Andrew Brown; A special god-daughter, Rachel Fletcher and a host of many amazing relatives and wonderful friends.

She was preceded in death by her fathers, Charlie Dunn and Irvin T. Warren; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Joe and Eloise Brown of Bogalusa, La.; and brother-in-law, Joe Brown Jr.

Drive-through visitation will be held on Friday, October 20, 2023, from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Crain and Sons Funeral Home – Bogalusa, La.

Funeral service will be held Saturday, October 21, 2023, at noon at The Greater Mount Behel Missionary Baptist Church, 46377 Durbin Road, Tickfaw, La., with Rev. Andrew L. Jackson – Pastor, Officiating. Interment – Community Cemetery, Sun, LA. Crain and Sons Funeral Home in Bogalusa, La. are responsible for arrangements.
