Election Day voting open until 8:00 P.M. in Louisiana

WASHINGTON PARISH, La. – The polls are open from 7:00 A.M. to  8:00 P.M. If you’re unsure where to vote, you can download the GeauxVote app or visit the Secretary of State voter portal. Remember, anyone in line to vote by 8:00 P.M. will be allowed to cast their vote.

To vote, bring a picture ID, such as a driver’s license, Louisiana Special ID, digital driver’s license, military ID, or any other picture ID with your name and signature. To get a Louisiana Special ID, show your voter information card at the Office of Motor Vehicles. If you lost your card, get a new one from your registrar of voters or print one from the voter portal.
