The Bogalusa Garden Guild has started their new season with Fall excitement. The meeting was led by pledges and included prayers, reviewing the named officers and sharing ideas and thoughts of upcoming months and events. A bell was given to each member as a gift. Each bell was hand-painted with a flower or garden on it.

The highlighted topic was the Washington Parish Free Fair. It is the 50th year celebration for Flower House. The Flower House is located at the front entrance of the fair.

Every year the local garden clubs participate by making award-winning flower arrangements for the flower house. Everyone is welcome to make their own arrangement or bring a blooming flower for bud vases.

Flower Power is the theme this year for the building. Stop by the flower building to see the many ideas and designs. Look for Bogalusa Garden Guild. See ya at the fair!
