Linda Sue Rester Little, of Bogalusa, LA passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 6, 2023, surrounded by her family at the age of 72.

She lived a long life filled with love, happiness, and fulfillment. She made her life’s work as a beautician in a salon that she started out of her own home. Her clients did not only see her as their hairdresser, but she was their friend. Even after she retired, she still had a select few that only wanted her to fix their hair. She filled her house with beautiful things that were mainly pink and blue, and she kept her house in immaculate condition and her porch was filled with beautiful plants. She loved gardening and working in her yard. Her favorite past time was going thrift shopping with her family, she knew all the good places to get a deal on antiques. She loved her family, children and grandchildren, but she held a special place in her heart for her great-grandchildren which brought her the most joy in the last years of her life. She will be missed and will always hold a special place in the hearts of her family and friends.

Linda is survived by her mother, Marcell Jane Rester; two children, Tammy Lynn (Brian) Dunn of Franklinton, LA and Tonya Marie (Chris) Kimball of Bogalusa, LA; 5 grandchildren, Kristen (Chris) LaRocco of Columbus, OH, Kayla (Jared) Payzant of Franklinton, LA, Kortney (Ben) Gilmore of Tylertown, MS, Nathan Dunn, and C.J. (Jennifer) Kimball of Bogalusa, LA; and 4 great-grandchildren, Kason and Kylann Payzant, and Sonny and Luca LaRocco.
