Dennis Kelvin Seal, age 67, a resident of Franklinton, LA passed away on Thursday, September 7, 2023.  Dennis was born on August 9, 1956, to Leon and Wilma Warner Seal.  Dennis graduated from Varnado High School in 1974, where he played varsity football as a wide receiver.  He made a career as a pipefitter at the Paper Mill in Bogalusa for more than 30 years.  

 Dennis spent many years coaching his son Derek in little league football and basketball.  He was an avid LSU fan and recently made his second trip to Omaha and this time was able to witness the Tigers win a championship, which was his lifelong dream.  He loved to watch his grandson, Wyatt play high school football and was his #1 fan.  Dennis and his beloved wife also enjoyed traveling around the world.

Dennis is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Sherry Kennedy Seal; two sons, Derek (Summer) Seal and Bo (his four-legged son); his grandson, Wyatt Seal; his mother, Wilma Warner Seal; and his two brothers, Barry (Amy) Seal and Timmy (Missy) Seal.  He is also survived by his mother-in-law, Faye Kennedy; sister-in-law, Tara (Chris) Burge; and a brother-in-law, Tony Kennedy.

Dennis was preceded in death by his father, Leon Seal and his father-in-law, Leo Kennedy. 

A celebration of life for Dennis will be held at a later date.
