According to the Washington Parish Sheriff’s Office Facebook page, a massive fire has broken out along Highway 1056.

“For your own safety, please avoid the area and do not drive through it,” the post said.

Multiple fire departments are currently on the scene attempting to control the flames. The Washington Parish Sheriff’s Office urges everyone to avoid the affected area until further notice.
