They married in 1993, living together in Kenner and Metairie over the years. He utilized his technology background to market and design websites in support of his wife’s real estate business. He considered her three children as his own: Todd C. Nugent (Ann) of Richmond, VA, Lesha Nugent Freeland (Michael) and Chad J. Nugent (Jennifer) both residents of Metairie. Combined they were blessed with total of ten grandchildren: Christopher, Joshua, and Sean (Caroline) Freeland, Nicole Torres (Wes), Sarah and Emily Nugent, Kate Scott, and Carter, Andrew, and Kyle Nugent. He is also survived by three nephews and a niece. He was a gentle soul with a quiet demeanor, ready smile, and a sharp intellect.
