Covington, LA – Louisiana Key Academy Northshore Campus will hold a Ribbon Cutting at 2391 Privette Blvd. in Covington on Tuesday, July 25 at 2:00 pm, with Open House immediately following the ceremony until 5:00 pm. Featured guests include school founder Dr. Laura Cassidy, Principal Jessica Stubbs, Councilman-at-Large Rick Smith, local leaders, and Northshore staff, families and students.
Louisiana Key Academy (LKA) is proud to host a Ribbon Cutting to celebrate the opening of its new school facility, serving grades K-5th. The event will feature an opening address by Dr. Laura Cassidy and will recognize the many friends and advocates who made this new school building possible.
LKA is a tuition-free 501(c)(3) public charter school founded in 2013. Its mission is to serve the community at large, to educate and remediate children with dyslexia in an evidence-based curriculum and to stand as an excellent model and resource for other schools and communities. LKA believes that dyslexics should be identified early and given the education necessary to reach their full potential.
