City of Bogalusa

LCDBG Application Available for Review

The City of Bogalusa announces that an application for the Louisiana Community
Development Block Grant Clearance Program will be submitted for the following:
Activity: LCDBG funds will be used to demolish and clear slum and blight

properties.

Objective: To address the national objective of eliminating or preventing blight

properties within the City.

Location: Identified and approved properties are located throughout the City’s

corporate limits.

Amount: The City will apply for the maximum grant amount of $500,000. The City

will be responsible for legal and grant administration fees.

All citizens, particularly persons of low and moderate income and residents of blighted
areas, are encouraged to submit their views and proposals by July 26, 2023 to Landon
Tims at the following address: City of Bogalusa, P O Drawer 1179, Bogalusa, LA 70429-
1179
The application is to be submitted to the State’s Office of Community Development on or
before August 1, 2023. A copy of the application will be available for review at the City
Hall from July 21, 2023 to July 28, 2023 between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.
