Ida Lee Partman Sibley departed this life on July 2, 2023, at her home.

Ida joined Lear’s Hill Church of God in Christ at a young age. She later joined Bethel Church of Christ Holiness where she served the Lord with joy. She was a member of the Deaconess, Missionary, Secretary of UCWM, faithful in Sunday School and she would help any where she was needed.

She attended Washington Parish High School; she worked in the Washington Parish School System for 30 years as a Custodian.

Ida met and married James Royce Sibley and to this union one child was born, Angela Sarita Sibley.

She leaves to cherish her memories two grandsons, Kendall James Sibley of Franklinton, LA and Timias A. Brumfield of Houston, Texas; four sisters, Dorothy L. Bickham, Josephine (James) Warren, Sr., Corrine (Billy) Watson, all of Franklinton, La, and Charlene (Royal) Brock of Biloxi, MS, one brother, Nathaniel Partman of Franklinton, LA;  a faithful Son-in-law, Timothy A. Brumfield; two special nieces, Jaynell Burton and Kim Green; two sisters-in-law, Brenda Partman and June Partman, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Royce Sibley; her daughter, Angela Sarita Brumfield; granddaughter, Keandra Brumfield; four brothers, James Eugene Partman, Sr., Johnnie D. Partman, Hezekiah “Rich” Partman, Alfred “AC” Partman; one sister, Carrie Mae Hoskins; two sisters-in-law, Shirley Partman and Mary Partman.

A drive through viewing on Friday, July 7, 2023 from 3:00PM – 6:00PM at Crain and Sons Funeral Home.

Funeral service will be Saturday, July 8, 2023 at 11:00AM at Sweet Home Church of Christ Holiness with Elder Alvin Partman – Pastor Officiating. Interment – Bethel Church Cemetery. Crain and Sons Funeral Home – Franklinton are in charge of arrangements.
