Make sure to stop by the Bogalusa Branch Library the 1st Thursday of the month for a recipe swap. This month Mrs. Christi Mitchell, LSU AgCenter SNAPEd Nutrition Educator, came and spoke to the group about Summer Harvest. Patrons brought in dishes made with Summer veggies, many bringing items from their own garden. There was fried squash, fritters, watermelon, salads, squash pasta, and so much more.
