On Saturday June 10, 2023, Officers working the Juneteenth Celebration in Cassidy Park, investigated a reported Armed Robbery that occurred in the park. A 16 year old juvenile male was near the Bogalusa Creek, when he was held up at gunpoint by two other juveniles, a 14 year old male and a 15 year old male.  Officers on the scene, investigated the alleged armed robbery, and subsequently arrested the two juvenile males. Both were charged with Armed Robbery and remanded to the Florida Parishes Juvenile Detention Center pending arraignment in Juvenile Court. The property of the victim was recovered and returned to the victim.
