Franklinton Man Wanted for Amite Burglary

The Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance in locating 32-year-old Bradford Forrest of Franklinton, LA on outstanding burglary charges.
Chief Jimmy Travis says on May 16, 2023, the caretaker of a vacant residence on Bellot Road east of Amite arrived at the residence to check on the property, when he observed a silver Toyota pickup truck fleeing the property. where three subjects were located on the property. As the subjects fled, a white male later identified as Forrest was observed driving a truck with two black male passengers. As the vehicle fled, the caretaker noticed a furniture dolly in the bed of the truck which he recognized as having been locked inside the vacant home. Upon checking the residence, the caretaker found the back doors open and numerous other items stacked outside the home.
Through the course of the investigation, Forrest was identified as the subject through a photographic line-up and charges of simple burglary have been signed.
