Mr. Huey Franklin Powe, a resident of Bogalusa, LA passed away Tuesday, May 30, 2023, at the age of 89.  He was retired from the Bogalusa City School Board and a member of Superior Avenue Baptist Church.

 

Mr. Huey is survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and other relatives and friends.

 

Mr. Huey was preceded in death by his wife, Lillian H. Powe; his parents, Hubert and Lilly K. Powe; brothers, Tullos and Eulas Powe; and his sisters, Ruby Carney, Margie P. Feldman, Katherine Royer, Betty Jean Powe, Delores Butler, Mildred P. Castille, and Minnie P. Paul.

 

A graveside service will be held Friday, June 2, 2023, at 11:00 A.M. at Ponemah Cemetery with Rev. Clay Norwood officiating the service.
