St. Paul A.M.E. Church invites you to fellowship with us.
In our annual Sons of Allen, three nights revival, that ends on May 24 with the event starting at  6:30 p.m. 

Our speakers are Pastors Rev. Dr. Larry Lucas Sr of Turner Chapel A.M.E. Church in Roseland on Monday, Rev. Stanley R. Nathaniel of Mt. Moriah M.B. Church in Bogalusa on Tuesday and Rev. Darryl Self of Second Baptist Church in Bogalusa.

Vacation Bible School taking place at Palestine Baptist Church

Palestine Baptist Church is holding Vacation Bible School from June 5-9 from 8:30 a.m. until noon.

The event is for those who have completed preK through those who have completed sixth grade.

Vacation Bible School will feature games like Spin the Spinner, Beat the Click, Skip Ahead, Level Up and Play to Win. Twists and Turns is a fantastical celebration of games of all kinds. From classic tabletop games to strategy games to video games and more, children will play their way through Vacation Bible School in fun locations such as the Bible Study Game Room, Wild Card Crafts, Multiplayer Missions and Skip Ahead Snacks. But more importantly, they’ll see Jesus through the eyes of one of His closest friends and discover that trusting Jesus as Savior and following Him changes the game entirely.

Greater Ebenezer Baptist Church Vacation Bible School

The Greater Ebenezer Baptist Church Vacation Bible School is being held June 5-9 from 5 p.m. until 7:30 p.m.

Journey with us to Proclamation Safari Park where we will discover that Jesus is our rescuer. Join Park Ranger Rachel and Park Ranger Roscoe as they lead the proclamation partners to learn more about the animals at Proclamation Safari Park. While learning how the proclamation partners can help the animals, they will learn about Jesus and their need for Him to rescue them.

VBS Theme Verse:  John 14:6, “I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.’’

Franklinton Youth Revival

Franklinton Youth Revival will take place on June 10 form 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Washington Parish Fairgrounds.

The event will feature live music, free food and snowballs and dynamic speakers.

The event is being hosted by several churches including, Centenary Methodist Church, Holy Family Catholic Church, Lighthouse Pentecostal Church, New Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church, Pentecostals of Mandeville, Storehouse Church and Sweet Home Church of Christ Holiness USA.

Mt. Zion Baptist Church

Mt. Zion Baptist Church, located at 64115 Jones Creek Road in Varnado, is currently seeking an experienced full time or part time musician. The church’s worship service begins at 11 a.m. every Sunday. Annunciation Catholic Church

Annunciation Catholic Church will be praying the Rosary every Monday afternoon at 3 p.m. in the church. Prior to the recitation of the Rosary, the group will also pray the beautiful Divine Mercy Chaplet. As noted, these prayers will be held in the church, and not the chapel as in the past. Everyone is invited to come and pray the Rosary for peace in the world and for personal intentions.

Bogalusa Seventh-day Adventist Church

The Bogalusa Seventh-day Adventist Church, located at 19617 Highway 21 North in Bogalusa, welcomes everyone to come worship with us every Saturday. Our Sabbath school begins at 9:40 a.m. and worship service begins at 11 a.m. We have a fellowship meal following our worship service and everyone is invited to stay. Love Outreach Family Worship Church

The Love Outreach Family Worship Church is distributing USDA “Food for Families” food boxes to Bogalusa and the surrounding area. Distribution will be every Wednesday at various locations. For more information, call 985-294-4587.

New Bethel Church

Every week is full of activity at New Bethel Church, located at 737 Ave. F in Bogalusa. Monday at 6:30 p.m. is a Small Group Class on Prayer by Sister Mary. Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. is Wild Ones Youth Night. Wednesday at 5:30 p.m. is a Leadership and Prayer Meeting, and at 6:30 p.m. is Worship and Teaching. Thursday at 6:30 p.m. is Celebrate Recovery. Friday at 6 p.m. is Chosen Movie Night. Saturday at 6 p.m. is Karaoke Night, and Sunday at 11 a.m. is the Sunday Morning Service.

Calvary Christian Fellowship

Calvary Christian Fellowship, located at 1240 Ave. F. in Bogalusa, is having Sunday morning services in house at 10:30 a.m., and welcomes the public to come worship. If you can’t make the service on Sunday morning, then you can watch it live streaming on Pastor Larry Lassley’s Facebook page. You can also watch on Wednesday evening at 6 p.m. on live streaming.
