American Legion Post 24 in Bogalusa held a blood drive on May 24.

“The blood bank, they call me every now-and-then about once a quarter and we let them have the building, the American Legion, free, so they can get blood donors,” Donald Kuhn said. “We work real well with them and they usually get a lot of donors and we cook for them when they come up here. They do it about once a quarter and we’ve got a good rapport with them.”

Kuhn is commander of American Legion Post 24.

The phlebotomists are Monet Carter, Danielle Burns and Shanequal Miller.
