SLIDELL, La. – The Healthy School Food Collaborative is partnering with LED FastStart to host an in-person job fair that connects qualified candidates to opportunities at its newly expanded processing facility in Slidell.
The job fair will take place Wednesday, May 10 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at HSFC’s facility at 62271 U.S. Hwy. 11 in Slidell. Job seekers can register in advance here, or in person at the event. Attendees are asked to bring three copies of their résumé.
Company representatives will conduct initial screenings and interviews with candidates interested in positions such as:
- Lead cook
- Cook
- Utility maintenance
- Food prep
- Drivers
Last year, HSFC announced a $4.6 million expansion of its St. Tammany facility to allow it to reach additional markets throughout Louisiana and neighboring states. The company will offer an array of services ranging from National School Lunch Program consulting and nutrition counseling to food co-packing and meal delivery logistics.
