Wess Foreman, who is a Bogalusa resident, is a Louisiana artist working primarily in acrylic paint on canvas. His playful style tends to hover in the space between realism and the abstract, letting bold black lines and bright colors carve their way throughout most of his pieces.
Interested in art since an early age, Wess majored in photography at Louisiana Tech where he took his first few painting classes. After years searching for a fulfilling career, he returned at last to putting paint to canvas and found the thing he had been looking for all along. He has been painting and selling his artwork since 2004.
Wess currently lives in Bogalusa with his wife and teenage son. When he’s not painting, he enjoys reading and writing and partially existing online.
Wess Foreman art work has been in major motion pictures and is currently on exhibit in St. Tammany Hospital Healing Art Programs.
