Franklinton’s Lavigne ties for 5th in Northlake Golf League

Franklinton’s Kade Lavigne tied for fifth in Monday’s competition at the Northlake Golf League that was held at Oak Harbor Golf Club in Slidell.
Lavigne posted 51 over the nine holes the golfers played. Lavigne tied Loranger’s Keaton Peek.
Belle Chasse’s Jeff Drury won the competition with a 42.
Archbishop Hannan’s John Ross Hoover was just a stroke behind for second with Lakeshore’s Ethan Young and Belle Chasse’s Cedric Harris tied for third at 47 and Lavigne and Peek rounded out the top five in field of 22.
Franklinton’s Nick Schilling posted a 67, while Alex Ezell tallied a 68 and Luke Roshto recorded a 70.
Belle Chasse won the team competition with a 208, as five teams qualified for points.
Archbishop Hannan was second at 211, followed by a tie for third between Lakeshore and Loranger both at 221 and Franklinton with a 256.
In the girls, Archbishop Hannan had the top three tallies, as six competed.
Ashlyn Crimmins won with a 44.
Call Johnson was second with a 48 and Analise Plunkett came in third with a 48.
Franklinton’s Brooklyn Pedersen posted a 62.
Archbishop Hannan was the only team that qualified for team honors.
The league continues on March 27 at Franklinton Country Club.
