According to a post that was made on Monday on the Bogalusa Police Department’s Facebook page, on Saturday Jan. 14, 2023, in the mid-morning hours, officers with the Bogalusa Police Department answered yet another shooting call on E. 8th Street near May Avenue in the River Terrace (Ivy Trace) Housing Development. The post says that one male subject was shot multiple times, while outside of his apartment. The male subject was transported to a regional hospital and remains alive according to the post.
