- Spartanette Service Club Adopts a Family for Christmas The Spartanette Service Club realized that Christmas is the Season of Giving and Spreading Joy to others they decided to adopted a family for Christmas as one of their December service projects. The member decided to adopt a family instead of pulling names and exchanging gifts. The members remember the joy and happiness they felt on Christmas morning seeing all their toys and games. The club was given the children’s Christmas Wish List from the Washington Parish- Department of Children and Family Services. They carefully purchase the items from the list that they were sure would bring them joy on Christmas morning. The members are really happy to once again be able to provide service activities in the community as well as surrounding areas when needed.
