On Dec. 16, 2022, Mr. John William Magee passed away at Tulane Medical Center in New Orleans, La. Mr. Magee was a life-long resident of Bogalusa and retired from the local chemical plant. He was also a veteran of the United States Army.

He is survived by his beloved wife of over 60 years, Mrs. Brenda Hathorne Magee, and two daughters, Pamala and Tammie Magee.

Mr. Magee was preceded in death by his parents, Rev. John and Ardith Magee; one brother: Clyde Ray Magee; and two sisters: Iva Nevers and Cammie Rials.

Brown-McGehee Funeral Home was entrusted with final arrangements. On Tuesday, Dec. 20, 2022, at 11 a.m., a graveside service will be held at Hillview Memorial Gardens.
