ESM United Methodist Church

ESM United Methodist Church invites everyone to join us for the following activities. Sunday activities: Sunday school for all ages begins at 9 a.m., followed by the worship service at 10 a.m. The youth will meet at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday activities include a prayer meeting at 5 p.m. and Bible study at 5:30 p.m. The United Methodist Women will meet on Thursday, Nov. 3, at 9 a.m. in the fellowship hall — all women are invited to attend. The December meeting will be a trip to “The Tea Room” on Friday, Dec. 9. Please contact the church office if you are interested in attending. Trustees will meet on Monday, Nov. 14, at 5:30 p.m. in the fellowship hall. Sunday, Nov. 20, will be a busy day for the church, with the following activities planned: UMM breakfast at 8 a.m. in the Family Life Center; Stewardship Sunday will be recognized at the 10 a.m. service; a covered-dish meal will be held in the Family Life Center after the Sunday service; and decorating the sanctuary for Advent will start at 5 p.m. The first Sunday of Advent is Sunday, Nov. 27. Join ESM for a combined Sunday school class at 9 a.m. in the fellowship hall.

Bogalusa Seventh-day Adventist Church

• The Bogalusa Seventh-day Adventist Church will be hosting a Faith and Finance Seminar starting Thursday, Nov. 3, at 6:30 p.m. The topics that will be covered during the seminar will consist of planning for retirement, money management, dealing with debt, saving, and budgeting. This seminar will be of particular interest to young men and women wanting to plan for their future. The seminar is free and participants will receive a participants’ workbook for their personal use. The seminar will be presented by Glenn Farinola. Anyone who is interested in attending the seminar can call Glenn at 1-504-301-7832. The church address is 19617 Highway 21 North in Bogalusa. • The Bogalusa Seventh-day Adventist Church, located at 19617 Highway 21 North in Bogalusa, welcomes everyone to come worship with us every Saturday. Mt. Zion Baptist Church

Mt. Zion Baptist Church, located at 64115 Jones Creek Road in Varnado, is currently seeking an experienced full time or part time musician. The church’s worship service begins at 11 a.m. every Sunday. The Church of God of Prophecy

Annunciation Catholic Church

Annunciation Catholic Church will be praying the Rosary every Monday afternoon at 3 p.m. in the church. Prior to the recitation of the Rosary, the group will also pray the beautiful Divine Mercy Chaplet. As noted, these prayers will be held in the church, and not the chapel as in the past. Everyone is invited to come and pray the Rosary for peace in the world and for personal intentions.
