Varnado High School is proud to announce Mrs. Denise Evans-Robinson as its 2022 Homecoming Parade Grand Marshal.
Robinson is an Angie native and VHS alumna from the Class of 1988 where she was a member of the Varnado Silver Bells Dance Team.
Robinson spends much of her time trying to create new and different experiences for her community-the Village of Angie. Her background spans across multi-industries from telecommunications to banking which both are heavily customer service based. With her customer service background, it only makes sense that she is a seasoned entrepreneur in which she owns and operates Perfectly Vinyl Prints by D&B (clothing store), D&B Travel (travel agency), Picture Perfect by D&B (photobooth services), and D&B Transportation (local taxi service).
In her free time, she enjoys catching up with family and carving out time for traveling, especially cruising.
Robinson is the wife of Mr. Beven Robinson. She has three beautiful children, Samikiya Evans, Eddie Evans and DeAris Barthé; three bonus children, Acey Young, Ladarrius Robinson and Courtney Robinson; and 14 grandchildren.
The VHS homecoming is Friday, Oct. 7, where the Wildcats will take on West St. John. The homecoming parade is Thursday, Oct. 6, at 5:30 p.m.
