Bogalusa Rebirth receives land donation

Bogalusa Rebirth would like to thank Mr. Don and Mrs. Georgia Spiers of Don Spiers & Associates for a land donation. The organization is honored to receive their gracious donation of property, which includes three vacant lots on George Mitchell Road. The land will used to develop newly constructed housing.
“(Bogalusa Rebirth Executive Director) Wendy (Williams Dupont) is dedicated to addressing the terrific blight problem in Bogalusa as well as attempting to provide adequate housing for folks in substandard living conditions,” Spiers said. “Georgia and I are pleased to help in this and any other way that we can.”
Bogalusa Rebirth is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Donations made to the charitable foundation are tax-deductible. In exchange for a land donation, the donor receives a donation receipt in the amount of the appraised site value.
