Mrs. Shelia “Dianne” G. Wells, a resident of Bogalusa, died on Friday, June 10, 2022, at her home.
She was a member of Isabel Baptist Church. She was a hairdresser at Magic Mirror Hair Salon in Bogalusa, for 20 years and then worked at her shop at home until April of this year. She loved her customers and treated them as family.
She is survived by two daughters, Terri (Jason) Watson of Bogalusa and Tammy Wells of Mandeville; four grandchildren, Taylor McMillan, Laken Watson, Lauren Watson and Teagan Watson, all of Bogalusa; a brother, Russell (Kathy) Galloway of Bogalusa; one sister, Donna (Keith) Lawrence of Bogalusa; a sister-in-law, Bonnie Wells of Bogalusa; a brother-in-law, Roy (Patti) Wells of Bogalusa; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
Mrs. Wells was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest “Ernie” Wells; her parents, W.L. and Chick Galloway; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Winfred and Halie Wells; and a brother and sister-in-law, Ronnie and Debbie Galloway.
Active pallbearers were Chris Galloway, Joey Galloway, Brad Galloway, Todd Applewhite, Jimmy Galloway and Aaron Applewhite.
Funeral services were held on Wednesday, June 15, at 2 p.m. at Isabel Baptist Church, with interment immediately following.
