Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church

• Growing, growing in God’s garden — on Monday, July 11, Wednesday, July 13, and Friday, July 15, from 9 a.m. to noon the young people at Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church will be learning about all things plants in this summer’s vacation Bible school, and what it’s like to be planted into God’s family. They will learn three key Bible verses, do cool science experiments, have fun and play games, and more. Come one, come all, going into grades pre-K through sixth this fall. Parents are welcome to drop off or stay for the fun at the church, located at 135 Rio Grande St. in Bogalusa. Call Sarah at 985-789-8473 for more information or to register. Come grow with us!
• Children’s Sunday School and Pastor Joe Arthur’s Adult Bible class each begin at 9:15 a.m. Sunday service starts at 10:30 a.m. with Divine Worship celebrating Holy Communion every Sunday, using best practices to avoid coronavirus spread. Join the church congregation as it focuses upon the Holy Gospel of St. Luke throughout this next church year. Please follow the church at Zion Lutheran Bogalusa on Facebook.
